The deliberate use of the ballot process to circumvent Professional Wildlife Management for the purpose of advancing the radical ideology to remove hunting as a viable management tool
Radical Environmentalists are again going to use the ballot process to remove hunting of Mt. Lions and Bobcats as a viable management tool. Initiative 91, is another deliberate attack to circumvent Colorado’s Professional Wildlife Managements ability to use regulated hunting of Mt. Lions and Bobcats as a viable essential management tool. The term “trophy hunting” is not a term used by hunters. The harvesting of a bull elk or buck deer is done by the use of a regulated license for the purpose of controlling the population of such species. Hunting has historically always been a consumptive method of obtaining a food source. Colorado hunting regulations forbid the wanton waste of meat in the field. To define hunting of game meat as trophy hunting is a ploy term to discredit lawful hunters and gain deceitful favor with the public. Ballot Box Biology is a deception of emotion to advance an unjustifiable ideology. If this blatant misuse of our ballot process is not curtailed, then Colorado’s Professional Wildlife Management, which has produced Colorado’s magnificent wildlife, will be undermined until it no longer can sustain it’s ability to do so. Colorado’s Professional Wildlife Management survival and sustainability depends on the sale of hunting licenses. Hunting is an economic driver for the Counties of the Western Slope. Ballot Box Biology only leads to chaos and harm.
