CCA continues the fight

While you may not have heard about Colorado Conservation Alliance (CCA) much of this year, we’ve not stopped working. Being a party to an on-going Federal Lawsuit, there are many actions that are not releasable to the public. Recently though, CCA filed an official letter with the British Columbia (Canada) Minister of Water, Lands and Resource Stewardship. CCA also filed a formal demand to the BLM, USFS, NPS, and USFWS to update their relevant RMPs, GMPs, CCPs, and associated management plans to include analyses and management actions resulting from gray wolves on the landscape. Lastly, CCA filed a legal motion in Federal Court to have the Court acknowledge that USFWS provided CPW with a Wolf Compensation and Conflict Mitigation Grant in the amount of $109,000.00.

All of these actions are the result of hundreds of manhours (and many thousands of dollars) on multiple fronts. We are not done. www.cocoal.org
